The students have been putting a great deal of effort into their Scholastic math project. They have finished up their calculations and are now writing about how  the different math operations helped them to complete the task. 

In Science, the students worked with a partner to create a vehicle that could move by wind power.  The students used what they learned last week when they created balloon powered vehicles to create more effective vehicles that were able to travel greater distances. 

We enjoyed a presentation on bees and bee keeping.  A highlight of the presentation was having the opportunity to sample some of the honey. 

In music, we had the opportunity to work with the grade 5/6 class to play the ukulele. It was wonderful to see the students learning from each other.
